It's simple; we understand that mistakes happen sometimes. For a custom item, there are no returns or refunds. If we make an error, we will either fix it, replace the item, or offer a refund if neither of those are viable options. We are not responsible if you make an error (spelling, imagery, etc.), therefore, we cannot offer a refund or a new product on our dime. In an effort to hopefully eliminate such errors, if we see something spelled inconsistent from its "normal" spelling, we'll do our best to contact you first for verification. We will also send you a draft for your approval prior to engraving the item. If after all that, you end up unhappy with our product, please let us know and we will do our best to come to a resolution with you.
While we absolutely love customizing our products for you, we cannot engrave images that have copyright and/or trademark protections, unless we (or you) have permission in the form of a licensing agreement. We're not fans of breaking laws that would put us out of business. If we have to close shop, we wouldn't be able to make cool stuff for you (frowny-face), so we can't let that happen. You mean too much to us.
Tilted Willow Engraving does reserve the right to refuse service, should we deem an image or text too graphic, racially insensitive, immoral, slanderous, etc. Trust us, we don't like to do that, so please make an effort to keep requests within the boundaries of these rules. We really appreciate it, and we thank you.
